Who is Gemvelo for?
Independent jewellery designers and small brands who want a clearer route from design to manufacturing. Our early pilot focuses on rings. You can submit other jewellery for individual review.
Can I start without a CAD file?
Yes. Share a sketch, a reference image you have permission to use, or a written brief. Initial CAD design is free during the pilot, with the scope and revisions agreed before work starts. Our team prepares the CAD manually, so it is not generated instantly.
Is the instant quote the final price?
It is a provisional planning price based on your details and visible assumptions. Our initial rates still need manufacturer validation. The team confirms the final price, inclusions and timeline with you before any payment. Import duties and local taxes are excluded from the instant price.
What happens after I save my request?
You receive a reference and a saved confirmation page. Our team reviews your brief and follows up manually to clarify details and agree the next step. Saving a request does not place a production order or take payment.
Will I need to manage manufacturers myself?
Gemvelo remains your main point of contact. You can request direct manufacturer contact for technical questions or updates. Production, quality checks, packaging, delivery and any aftercare are agreed for your project before you proceed.
Are my designs kept private?
Uploads are stored privately, and submitted files are available only to approved Gemvelo staff. Files may be shared with a selected manufacturer when you agree to proceed. Saved requests can be reopened in the same browser for 30 days, so keep your reference if you change devices.
